In January 2004, Kim VanGelder was appointed Chief Information Officer. In this position, she reports to Robert H. Brust, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. The Board of Directors also elected her a corporate vice president.
Since joining Kodak in 1984, VanGelder has held a variety of positions in Information Technology. For several years, she led the Corporate group responsible for defining Kodak’s global IT architecture and standards. In 1996, she was appointed Director of the Global ERP Competency Center, where she built the organization responsible for supporting Kodak’s worldwide Enterprise Resource Planning implementation. In 2000, she was appointed Director of Information Technology for Kodak’s Research & Development organization, where she was responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of IT for worldwide R&D. In 2003, she became Director of Information Technology for the Digital & Applied Imaging Business Unit, and subsequently for Digital & Film Imaging Systems, which encompasses Kodak’s consumer, professional, and entertainment imaging products and services.
