KS is a 30 year veteran of the Asian semiconductor industry. He has held key positions in sales, applications, test and product engineering.
KS was an early employee of Broadcom Asia where he joined as a Director of Asia Sales. Over the next 5 years, he built Broadcom Sales and Applications from two men to a group of more than 30. In the process, Broadcom Asia business grew from $70M to more than $500M. KS and his team achieved this by securing virtually all key design wins in Asia.
Before Broadcom, KS was the General Manager of Silicon System Inc. When SSi was acquired by Texas Instrument, KS headed TI Storage Product Division in Asia. KS was the first employee of SSi in Asia, where he held the initial position of Field Application Manager. Over the next 10 years, he built SSi Asia to the largest organization focused on Storage and Communication industry. KS played a key role in SSi revenue growth from $80M to $700M over the 10 year period.
In addition to Broadcom and SSi, KS also held key positions at Volterra Semiconductor, Schlumberger Test Systems and Intersil. |
