Dr. Kamran joined HMG as the Senior Medical Officer, Central Division, in December 2007. He has administrative and clinical responsibility for clinical operations at HMG locations in Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. He works collaboratively with HMG?s Chief Medical and Chief Operating Officers and client hospital leadership to facilitate improved medical and service operations.
Dr. Kamran has been a practicing Hospitalist since 2000 and has been active in program and medical management since 2003. In his previous role as Medical Director of the Hospitalist Program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, he implemented a number of program initiatives that resulted in improved patient satisfaction, referral physician satisfaction and program cost management. In addition, he was actively engaged in utilization review, peer review, as well as the hospital’s quality management and performance improvement program.
Dr. Kamran is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is completing his Certification of Physician Executive (CPE) training. After receiving his Doctorate of Medicine degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University in Charleston, West Virginia. |
