An associate with the firm, Keya C. Denner devotes his practice to commercial and employment related litigation.
As a commercial litigator, Keya is actively involved in a wide range of corporate disputes. In addition, he has experience representing insureds in claims against their insurers.
In the area of employment law, Keya focuses his practice on litigation matters. He has represented both employers and employees on matters in connection with breach of employment agreements, the 'At-Will' relationship, and discrimination under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. Keya has represented Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in both state and federal court, defending against claims of civil rights violations and breach of contract. He is an experienced Municipal Court litigator, having acted both as prosecutor and attorney for defendants.
In his final year of law school, Keya worked in the Civil Litigation Clinic representing indigent clients in the Newark area. In addition, he was a member of the Seton Hall Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law, in which an article he authored was published.
