As Chief Financial Officer, Kew oversees finance and mergers & acquisitions initiatives for the organization. This includes budgeting, financial planning and analysis, contract negotiations and cash flow management.
Kew's career spans over a decade of successful positions in the high tech and financial industries. Prior to coming to Reprise Media, Kew was CFO & COO of Lycos, Inc. where he was responsible for day-to-day financial and business operations. Kew played a key role in negotiating the acquisition of Lycos by Daum Communications Corporation, directing subsequent company-wide restructurings and renegotiating strategic alliances with various Internet services companies including 24/7 Real Media and Yahoo.
He spent several years in equity analyst and trader positions for firms such as Credit Suisse First Boston, Jefferies & Company, and Rothschild before going on to Net2Phone, Inc. where he served as Vice President of Finance. After leaving Net2Phone, Kew went to work for eXact Advertising as CFO & Controller, where he was instrumental in the purchase of Brainfox, a pay-per-click search engine. Kew has an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. Any free time outside of work is consumed by his four children. |
