Kevin Westley (born 1949) has been an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company since 2004. He is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Company. He is a part-time employee of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited where he acts as adviser to the chairman. In 2006 he has been appointed as a member of the Committee on Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is also the chairman of the Takeovers and Mergers Panel of Hong Kong a member of the Share Registrars Disciplinary Committee and the deputy chairman of Ocean Park Corporation. He joined the merchant banking arm of the HSBC group in 1977 and retired in June 2000 as chairman and chief executive of HSBC Investment Bank Asia Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in History and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. |
