Kevin Svenningsen is Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Local Television Client Services. In this role, Kevin is responsible for sales and marketing for the local business. Kevin reports to Sara Erichson, Executive Vice President, Client Services for Nielsen Media Research North America and is based in New York.
Prior to this role, Kevin was senior vice president, sales and marketing for the Nielsen Agency, Broadcast and Syndicator Service (NABSS), responsible for providing services to the broadcast networks, national advertising agencies and syndicators.
Before that, Kevin was vice president in charge of the Nielsen Syndication Service (NSS) in 1997, heading up Nielsen Media Research's marketing, sales and product development services for the U.S. syndication industry.
Kevin began his career at Nielsen Media Research in 1988 as an analyst in NTI (Nielsen Television Index). He left Nielsen for a short time to learn the client side of the business at McCann-Erickson. After rejoining NTI in 1991 as a client service executive, Kevin was promoted to account executive, where he was responsible for some of Nielsen's major agency and broadcast accounts. At the beginning of 1996, he joined NSS, as east coast regional manager.
Kevin is a 1986 graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. |
