Mr. Starke joined CRT Capital in 2008 to provide fast-response research across the capital structure and a wide variety of industries. He previously worked at Weeden & Co. LP as a Senior Analyst focused on special situations, distressed and post-reorganization securities. Prior to his three years at Weeden, Mr. Starke served a year in a similar role at Imperial Capital LLC. From 1999 to 2004, he was an analyst at Bear Stearns & Co., where he focused on small-cap special situations companies. Mr. Starke began his career in Asia, where he worked for several financial firms in Hong Kong, following a year in the Philippines on the Henry Luce Scholarship. He received his BA from New York University in Politics and his MA from Yale University in Ethics. |
