Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron, Kevin was the Director in the Health Industries Advisory - Revenue Cycle Consulting Practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he focused on new business development and revenue growth, project management and service delivery, client relationship management, and practice development efforts. Kevin also served as the Director of Patient Finance and Revenue for a large and rapidly growing multi-specialty physician group practice in the central New York area.

Managed several revenue cycle assessments and turn-around initiatives for health systems, specialty hospitals, and physician organizations resulting in sustainable improvements in operational and financial performance.
Designed and managed several cash acceleration/accounts receivable reduction projects, resulting in significant increases in cash flow, reductions in outstanding AR, and improved processes and controls.
Designed and led several reimbursement analysis projects, resulting in the identification and recovery of significant third party underpayments.
Developed and managed complete physician business office operations, including staffing, policy and procedure development, AR and cash flow management, fee schedule, reimbursement, third party negotiations, and management reporting functions.
Spearheaded initiatives to develop, document, and test internal controls for revenue cycle operations for a major New York City health system, and a for-profit ancillary service provider.
