Kevin M. Poor provides strategic counsel to clients as the head of Dix & Eaton’s creative department. He also is responsible for defining and growing the firm’s interactive service capabilities and Web presence.
Mr. Poor works to understand clients’ communications strategies in order to develop creative concepts and approaches that align with those strategies. He also oversees the creative process to ensure that the firm’s work supports and enhances clients’ branding and marketing initiatives.
In addition, Mr. Poor serves the growing number of clients seeking counsel and services related to the interactive marketplace. From corporate intranets and extranets to high-level eCommerce strategies and Web site design and implementation, he helps them feel comfortable with their position and direction in the ever-changing interactive environment.
Prior to joining Dix & Eaton, Mr. Poor worked as a creative director in the Portland, Oregon, office of the global Internet service company AGENCY.COM. His responsibilities included creating sophisticated online integrated media solutions for Fortune 1000 clients such as Intel, Compaq and Enron. During his four years at AGENCY.COM, Mr. Poor also worked as a director and AVID editor.
Between 1991 and 1995, Mr. Poor served as producer/director in the Public Affairs Department of the South Carolina Department of Corrections. He helped write, produce and direct all of the agency’s video and film projects and acted as liaison to the media.
A graduate of The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Mr. Poor holds an M.B.A. as well as a bachelor’s degree in communications from the College of Wooster. |
