As Project Manager and Architectural Designer for a Top-10 global industrial archi- tecture/engineering firm, he managed design/build services for a wide variety of project types and clients. The ability to deliver consistent quality within an exacting deadline-oriented, team environment earned him a reputation for being a multi-faceted leader in budgeting, facility design, site preparation, contractor supervision, staff management and project coordination. An extensive background in project coordination at a custom manufacturing facility gives Mielcarek a well-rounded ‘nuts and bolts’ knowledge of manufacturing practices in his portfolio. Work includes projects for Walt Disney World, U.S. Naval Academy, Hilton, University of Pittsburgh, Roanoke Airport, and numerous regional malls and retail facilities. Kevin has represented a hospital client for remodeling, expansion and equipment upgrades at an operating medical center in Western Pennsylvania, in addition to serving as Architectural and Mechanical Designer for over 200 regional residential construction projects. As Senior Designer of Audiovisual Systems for a northeastern US systems integrator, he designed audiovisual systems for corporate, healthcare, higher education and government clients that include Allegheny Ludlum, Bayer, Duquesne Systems, Ketchum Communications, Mellon Bank, Price Waterhouse, PPG and Westinghouse. Mielcarek also brings specialized experience in the design and construction of technology-intensive facilities such as data centers, server rooms, clean rooms, bio-chemical research and semiconductor fabrication plants around the world. Corporate clients include IBM, Motorola, National Semiconductor, Northrop Grumman, Digital Semiconductor, Dongbu, Fujitsu, Micron Technologies, Obayashi, Seagate and Toshiba.
