Kevin Mansell, president, Kohl's Department Stores, is responsible for the company's merchandising, marketing, planning and allocation, and distribution functions. Mansell also serves on the Board of Directors.
Joining Kohl's in 1982 as a divisional merchandise manager, Mansell was promoted to general merchandise manager in 1987. Over the next nine years, his responsibilities expanded to include merchandise planning and allocation, as well as micromarketing. Mansell was promoted to senior executive vice president of merchandising and marketing in 1998. He has served as president and director since 1999.
Mansell began his career in retail in 1975, joining the Venture Store division of May Department Stores, where he held a number of positions in buying and merchandising.
Mansell is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, where he attended the University of Missouri. |
