Kevin Hostler is the President and Chief Executive Officer for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. Kevin is the ninth executive to lead Alyeska since the company was established in 1970.
Prior to joining Alyeska, Mr. Hostler served as the Senior Vice President for BP's global human resources organization where he was responsible for providing human resources support in over 80 countries. Prior to that, Mr. Hostler was the Business Unit Leader and Associate President of BP’s subsidiary in Colombia.
Mr. Hostler has had a diverse 29-year career in the Oil and Gas Industry, including 26 years with BP. He has had leadership assignments in the United States, England, Scotland, and Columbia. Mr. Hostler has extensive experience in the production and operations side of the business. Among other positions, he has served as Operations Manager in the Gulf of Mexico and Offshore Installation Manager in the North Sea. Early in his career Mr. Hostler worked on several projects in Alaska.
Mr. Hostler is currently on the boards of the Alaska Oil and Gas Association, the Association of Oil Pipelines and the American Petroleum Institute and is Chairperson of the 2006 American Heart Association Heart Walk in Alaska. Mr. Hostler also serves on the Advisory Council for the Texas A&M Center for International Studies.
Mr. Hostler graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He has been associated with several industry associations and has worked previously with the American International Chamber of Commerce.
Kevin and his wife Becky have two children and are enthusiastic about their return to Alaska. |
