Mr. Crofton has 13 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment market. Prior to joining Aviza, Mr. Crofton served as Senior Vice President of Customer Operation (Sales, Marketing and Service) at NEXX Systems, where he was responsible for establishing targeted account penetration strategies for the company's PVD and Plating product line. Before joining Nexx Systems, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Packaging and Automation Systems Division at Newport Corporation. Rounding out his semiconductor capital equipment experience, Mr. Crofton served as Managing Director and General Manager of the Chemical Mechanical Planarization/Clean Products Group at Lam Research Corporation. He has also held various positions at Lam Research, including Director of Product Management and Product Support for Lam Research's conductor etch product lines. Mr. Crofton has a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from Virginia Tech, and a master's degree in international business from American University. |
