As vice president of corporate communications for Adobe, Kevin Burr oversees worldwide public relations, internal communications and industry analyst relations. He is also responsible for corporate positioning and messaging, high-level communications strategy, executive communications and media relations.
For his accomplishments in promoting Adobe's public image, Burr was named Corporate PR Professional of the Year in 2005 by PR News. In 2000, he was named one of the top 50 high-tech PR professionals by PR Week.
Burr joined Adobe in 1999 as senior director of worldwide public relations, bringing more than 23 years of high-tech public relations and marketing communications experience with him. Prior toAdobe, Burr was director of worldwide public relations at Silicon Graphics Computers, Inc., where he managed a staff of 30 professionals and established the framework to successfully communicate the company's turnaround. Previously, Burr held senior communications positions at both multibillion-dollar companies and start-ups, including Conner Peripherals, Inc., Global Village Communication, Inc., and Plexus Computers.
