Kevin is a partner at Reed Elsevier Ventures where he invests in media and technology companies. Kevin was one of Reed Elsevier Ventures founding partners in late 2000, joining from SOFTBANK/News Corporation’s European joint venture fund, eVentures. At Reed Elsevier Ventures Kevin transacted deals including iPhrase (acquired by IBM), Babylon, Intraspect (acquired by Vignette), SRD (acquired by IBM), and AllBusiness. He is currently active on the boards of Inxight, Inpharmatica and Healthline. Previously, he was an entrepreneur having founded a risk management technology company selling derivative pricing and risk management software to the banking & energy industries. He has also spent a number of years at Arthur Andersen’s European strategy consulting practice where he specialized in helping many of the world’s largest energy & utilities companies formulate M&A and growth strategies to embrace the opportunities of liberalizing markets. Kevin received his bachelor of arts degree in Social & Political Sciences, graduating with honours from King’s College, the University of Cambridge, from where he also hold a Master of Arts. |
