Mr. Book is a D.C. native whose Washington career began as a legislative aide at an oil and gas law firm. His previous work experience includes running one of the nation’s most heralded information technology groups as senior director of technology at The Motley Fool, overseeing telecommunications projects with Andersen Consulting, and working in the healthcare research practice at the Advisory Board Company. In addition, Mr. Book has served as an independent business and technology consultant to a diverse group of clients organizations that include start-up companies, venture capital funds, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 2001, Computerworld magazine recognized him as one of the world’s Premier 100 IT Leaders.
Mr. Book holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with concentrations in technology policy and international finance from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a B.A. in economics from Tufts University. |
