Kevin Begley has more than thirty years experience in public accounting and corporate tax consulting. He joined Decosimo's Cincinnati office in April 2007 to assist the corporate tax practice with tax compliance and special tax projects.
Kevin's tax planning experience for businesses has included inventory, leasing, international, accounting methods and state and local tax. His industry experience includes manufacturing, consumer markets, retail and transportation.
Kevin's relationships with top executives have made him a trusted tax and financial advisor to many national and international companies. He has advised in complex transactions involving retail department store companies in multiple jurisdictions, as well as the spin-off of the world's largest restaurant company operating in multiple countries. He also has significant experience in bankruptcy and planning issues.
Kevin has previously published articles appearing in "Taxes-The Tax Magazine" and The Tax Advisor."
Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His civic service has included serving on the board of directors and golf committee for Junior Achievement of Greater Cincinnati, the finance committee of All Saints Parish as past chairman and the board of directors, as well as the audit and golf committees of the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Kevin graduated cum laude from Boston College with degrees in Economics and Psychology and then attended the Sloan Graduate School of Business at New York University for concentrated studies in accounting and tax. |
