As Senior Vice President of Technical Operations, Kevin Layton serves as SRA’s Chief Engineer and is responsible for all aspects of systems engineering and technical oversight.
Layton brings to SRA more than 23 years of expertise in leading the development of network, radar and command and control systems on an international scale. He has led teams through all phases of the project lifecycle from program capture to acceptance, production and marketing and sales.
Prior to joining SRA, Layton held a number of key technical leadership positions at Lockheed Martin Corporation, including Systems Engineering, Integration and Test Director for the Information Systems and Global Services business unit. He has extensive experience in leading billion-dollar projects through all phases of technical development, integration and production, as well as providing oversight for large engineering organizations.
Before Lockheed, Layton was at Sensis Corporation, a global provider of air defense, air traffic control, airline and airport operations management, and data integration and distribution.
Layton holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University.
