As Vice President of Power Production, Mr. Crawford is responsible for overseeing the Company’s flue gas desulfurization construction project at its generating plants. Mr. Crawford and his team are installing leading edge technology that will remove sulfur dioxide from emissions, producing cleaner air for the region. He reports to the Senior Vice President Generation and Marketing.
Mr. Crawford has been with DP&L since 1988. While at DP&L, he has had extensive experience in the transmission and distribution business, fuel procurement, materials management, and coal-fired generation. Prior to the flue gas desulfurization project, Mr. Crawford was responsible for DP&L’s 3 coal-fired power plants. He has also managed the day-to-day operations of the DP&L-operated 615-megawatt Killen Station.
Mr. Crawford is a member of the Cedarville University Engineering Advisory Board, and is a former board member of two local construction-related associations. He is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. |
