Kevin Dunigan is executive vice president and head of City National Bank’s Core Banking Division, which consists of the bank’s branch offices as well as the Business Banking group. Moreover, he oversees the Government Lending and the Community Reinvestment divisions. Mr. Dunigan, who joined the company in June 1999, also is a member of the bank’s Executive Committee.
Before joining City National, Mr. Dunigan was director of retail banking at H.F. Ahmanson & Company, managing Home Savings of America’s Southern California branch franchise. During his tenure there, Mr. Dunigan also served as assistant to the chairman, Charles Rinehart, and as director of retail marketing.
Before that, Mr. Dunigan was chief marketing officer for HomeFed Bank in San Diego, and was responsible for product management, consumer research, advertising, and public and investor relations.
Mr. Dunigan also worked for Carnation/Nestle for six years, and in his role as group product manager ran national brands such as Coffeemate, Carnation Hot Cocoa Mix and Friskies Buffet in the beverage and pet food categories. He began his professional career with Continental Bank in Chicago, holding management positions in the commercial banking and marketing divisions.
Active in the community, Mr. Dunigan serves on the board of the California Science Center in Los Angeles. He is also very involved in youth development through his various leadership positions in the Orange County area.
Mr. Dunigan earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. |
