Kevin P. Tighe focuses his practice primarily on representing the automobile industry and its numerous trade associations before the U.S. Congress and most federal agencies for over 35 years. He served as Chief Legislative Counsel for the National Automobile Dealers Association, Washington Counsel for Governmental and Regulatory Affairs for American Motors Corporation, and Washington Counsel for Regulatory Affairs for Chrysler Motors Corporation. He has authored and negotiated many improvements in today's manufacturer/dealer licensing laws, domestic/import franchise agreements, and has represented segments of the automobile industry in administrative enforcement proceedings before the Department of Transportationís NHTSA.
Mr. Tighe maintains a real estate practice and has assisted in the creation of joint ventures and limited liability companies for both residential and commercial developments. He is one of the founding partners of Tighe Patton Armstrong Teasdale, PLLC.
Mr. Tighe received his law degree from Catholic University in 1969, and is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Massachusetts. |
