Mr. Perez is a shareholder with Kennedy, Childs & Fogg, P.C., and has been practicing in the areas of employment and business litigation since 1996. He has a trial practice representing businesses, corporations, governmental entities, and insurance companies in disputes involving employment issues, civil rights claims, contract claims, professional liability issues, and personal injuries. In addition to his trial practice, he provides advice and counsel regarding employment, contract, compliance, and other commercial concerns to businesses of all sizes, from sole proprietorships to Fortune 100 companies. He is experienced in defending large, national account clients and working with in-house corporate counsel and risk management personnel to minimize exposure and liability. He has lectured to attorneys and management on various topics concerning employment law, overtime regulations, general commercial liability, risk management, and ethics. He is licensed to practice in the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and in all Colorado County, District, and Appellate courts. Mr. Perez was born in Belleville, Illinois, and earned his undergraduate degree in Economics, with honors, from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. |
