Before joining Baker Capital, Kilroy was the Vice President and General Manager of the HP Middleware Division at the Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ). Prior to his tenure with Hewlett-Packard, Kilroy was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman for Bluestone Software (BLSW). Kilroy took Bluestone public in 1999, led a secondary offering in February of 2000, and the successful acquisition of Bluestone by HP in October 2000.
