Mr. O'Hara was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate and Community Affairs in April 2006. Mr. O'Hara is responsible for Community and Legislative Affairs, Corporate Communications and Human Resources and joined Piedmont in 1987. Prior to his promotion, as Vice President of Business Development and Ventures, Mr. O'Hara was responsible for Piedmont's business development and non-utility joint ventures. Mr. O'Hara began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in Chicago. Mr. O'Hara is a member of the Southern Gas Association and American Gas Association. He has held numerous leadership positions in Charlotte civic and social organizations and serves on the Arts & Science Council's Board of Directors. Mr. O'Hara, a native of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and MBA from DePaul University. |
