Kevin M. McKinley is an attorney in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group focusing on patent prosecution. Before joining the firm, Mr. McKinley was an associate in a Alexandria, Virginia intellectual property firm and a U.S. patent examiner. Mr. McKinley has experience in technologies including organ transplant devices, vehicle airbags, semiconductor fabrication, video processing and display, hybrid vehicles, image reproduction and electro-optics.
Mr. McKinley received his J. D. from Widener University School of Law in 1998. He received his B.S. degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1994.
Mr. McKinley is admitted to the New Jersey state bar, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and is registered to practice before the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the New Jersey Bar Association. |
