Goodwin has led SonoSite since its spin-off from ATL Ultrasound in April 1998. He joined ATL in 1987, and was promoted to vice president and general manager for ATL's business in Asia Pacific, Latin America, Australia and Canada (APLAC). From 1997 until the spin-off, Goodwin was vice president and general manager of ATL Ultrasound's Handheld Systems Business Group. Goodwin began his career in medical products with American Hospital Supply Corporation as a national distribution manager, followed by a position with Picker International as area manager for the southeastern United States. Goodwin holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Monmouth College of Monmouth, Illinois, with an emphasis on hospital management, and completed the Stanford Executive Program, Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California. |
