Kevin L. Halloran joined Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. on October 11, 2006 as director of corporate finance and investor relations. On April 25, 2007, he was promoted to vice president, corporate development and investor relations, adding corporate planning functions to his responsibilities.
A 17-year Hawaii resident, Halloran began his career in investment banking in New York with Bankers Trust Company, where he was active in several large leveraged buyout and merger and acquisition transactions in the mid-1980s. He subsequently worked for PSI Institutional Realty, the investment subsidiary of Public Storage, Inc. In 1990, Halloran co-launched Media Venture Partners, Inc. (MVP), a business development creative agency that he operated until 2004, during which time he also launched an award-winning business publication Venture Magazine. Halloran had provided business development services to A&B and many other Hawaii clients, and had developed a familiarity with the Company’s business before his hiring last year.
Halloran earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colgate University and completed the Bankers Trust Management Training program, a year-long, MBA-level management program. |
