Kevin joined the firm in the summer of 1999, after extensive experience in both business and large law firm practice. In today's environment, it is common for lawyers to leave the practice of law and go into business. Kevin has left business and gone into law practice. By that route, he has brought with him the perspective of the business executive on the practice of corporate and commercial law, and a first hand understanding of what business needs from lawyers. In the business world, Kevin was most recently Chief Executive Officer of The Liberty Group, of Portland, Maine, a real estate development company with substantial projects throughout the United States. Kevin started with The Liberty Group in 1987, and concluded his service with that company in 1999, upon joining our firm. Prior to his association with The Liberty Group, Kevin practiced corporate law with Davis, Polk & Wardwell in New York City, and Bernstein, Shur, Sawyer & Nelson in Portland. Kevin is a 1976 graduate of Bowdoin College, and a 1980 graduate of Pace University School of Law. |
