Kevin J. Purcell joined Herley as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in June of 2006. Prior to joining Herley, he served as Vice President Finance, Contracts and Compliance for Smiths Aerospace LLC, Customer Services Americas. Other prior experience included senior financial positions including Vice President and CFO, Controller and Director as well as a number of years in the Government Contractor Advisory Services group of KPMG. He has extensive experience in financial and contract management of domestic and international operations in both public and private companies, most of which conducted business with federal, state or local governments. He received his B.B.A. degree in financial accounting from Iona College and his M.B.A. degree from Pepperdine University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Management Accountant, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the National Contract Management Association, the MAPI Government Contracts Council and the Financial Executives International Committee on Government Business.
