Kevin Downes is a senior associate in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. Mr. Downes is a specialist in construction litigation. For over twenty years, he has represented clients in construction-related matters. He was in-house counsel for CGU Insurance Company, handling their construction defect litigation throughout Southern California. His practice will continue to focus on construction law and litigation. He represents contractors, subcontractors, school districts, developers, lenders and homeowner associations. Mr. Downes handles construction litigation, advises clients in drafting contracts and agreements, and assists in general facilities matters. He also serves, on a volunteer basis, as an Orange County Superior Court Judge, Pro Tem. He is a member of the State Bar of California and is active in numerous construction law organizations.
