Kevin has over 25 years of experience in tax and legal aspects of trust and estate administration. As Chief Fiduciary Officer, he is responsible for interpreting and applying all developments in federal and state statutes and regulations to the daily business activity of First Financial Trust, N.A. He serves as a resource to the entire bank in terms of tax and legal matters. He interacts with clients’ attorneys, accountants and other advisors in coordinated and sophisticated estate planning matters and is actively involved in the new business development activities of the bank. Before joining First Financial Trust, Kevin was a Vice President-Trust Administration Manager for Mellon Private Asset Management in Boston. Prior to his work at Mellon, Kevin was Director of Trust and Tax Operations for the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray for over nine years. He also served for over nine years as Tax Counsel and Bureau Chief for the Massachusetts Estate Tax Bureau. Kevin received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Principal's Blue Ribbon Committee at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, and serves as Chairperson of the school's Institutional Advancement Committee. |
