Kevin E. Murray is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of AXA Financial, Inc. Mr. Murray reports to Christopher M. Kip Condron, President and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Financial.
Since joining AXA Financial in 2004, Mr. Murray has been Senior Vice President and head of the IT Department’s Application Continuity Team.
Earlier, Mr. Murray was Senior Vice President and Group Chief Information Officer for the Domestic Brokerage Group and Personal Lines companies of AIG, responsible for supporting all domestic commercial/personal lines insurance products and financial services, 50 decentralized offices and 20,000 users.
Mr. Murray has more than 25 years of IT experience in managing large portfolios, and in the development and strategic implementation of systems. Prior to AIG, he worked as Systems Information Officer and Director of Advanced Technologies for Blue Cross Blue Shield and earlier as Senior Systems Officer for J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Murray is active in industry matters and, among other honors, he is a recipient of the Elite 8 Award by Insurance & Technology Magazine and IBM’s Partnership Award for Partners in Technology Excellence. He was featured in CIO Magazine for expense reduction in connection with the management of legacy systems.
