Work Experience
E. Kevin Bethel was named Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, Sierra Pacific Resources in November, 2007. Headquartered in Las Vegas, he reports directly to Corporate Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer William Rogers.
Prior to joining Sierra Pacific, Bethel served as assistant controller for American Electric Power, Inc., in Columbus, Ohio. There he held management positions in both regulated and unregulated accounting activities. His prior experience has included key accounting management positions with The Williams Company, Central & South West Services, and the Public Service Company of Oklahoma.
Education
Bethel is a 1987 graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree and an accounting major.

He is a Certified Public Accountant. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oklahoma Society of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs.
