Mr. Gottehrer regularly advises clients on the legal aspects of business transactions, including the following:
Negotiated transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, mergers and other similar transactions for public and privately-owned companies
Negotiated joint ventures and other strategic alliances
Secured and unsecured lending transactions
Corporate reorganizations and restructurings
Representation of mortgage loan portfolio servicers in connection with loan assumptions, as well as consent, REMIC and general compliance issues
Coordination of financings and real estate transfers in connection with mergers and acquisitions
General corporate and commercial matters, including corporate formation and dissolution, corporate maintenance, the negotiation of shareholders' agreements and employment agreements and other matters
