Kerry Knott joined Comcast as Vice President Government Affairs in March of 2003. At Comcast Knott is responsible for developing and overseeing Comcast’s government affairs strategy at the Federal state and local levels. Knott serves on the boards of the Comcast Foundation and the Comcast Political Action Committee.
Before joining Comcast Knott served as Senior Director Federal Government Affairs at Microsoft Corporation where he directed the company’s extensive lobbying operation for over four years. Prior to his work with Microsoft Knott served as Chief of Staff to former House Majority Leader Dick Armey for fourteen years.
Knott is Chairman of the Board of the C.S. Lewis Institute in Springfield Virginia and is on the boards of City Year DC and the Alumni Board for the Fund for American Studies.
Originally from Guntersville Alabama he received a BA in Marketing from Auburn University.
Kerry his wife and their three children reside in Arlington Virginia. |
