Mr. Hicks received a Bachelor's in Business and a Master's in Information Systems from Colorado State University, where he also was the recipient of the 2001 College of Business Distinguished Alumni Award and was selected by the College of Business as the Spring 2001 Commencement speaker. In 2000, Hicks was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the e-business category for the Rocky Mountain Region.
