Mr. Arai is a senior executive with over 35 years experience in the automotive industry. He served as President of Calsonic International and established over 30 factories for Calsonic in Europe, US and Asia. He also set up multiple subsidiaries of Calsonic across the globe. He negotiated and set up joint-ventures with Delco (US and France), Harrison and Nissan and served as the top executive at each of these joint ventures. After retiring from Calsonic, Mr. Arai was asked by the Tokyo government to turn around and rebuild Nikko Denki which he accomplished in record time. Mr. Arai received commendation from Tochigi Prefectural Management Association as a Best President in the Prefecture and is involved in various non-profit activities including serving as Keimei Gakuen Board member (Mitsui Families Private School). |
