Kent joins the Challenger team with extensive experience in Investment Banking, M&A consulting, financial operations and venture capital. Previously, Kent worked in the transaction services group for KPMG, LLP in Dallas. He performed due diligence and financial analysis to assist both strategic and financial buyers through their transaction processes. Prior to KPMG, Kent was an Investment Banking analyst at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup Global Markets, Inc.) in New York, as a member of the health care industry coverage group. While there, he provided financial and advisory services, focusing primarily on mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and acquisition financings. Additionally, Kent worked with Motorola Ventures, the venture capital arm of Motorola, Inc. and worked in the corporate finance group of a small-cap publicly traded health care services company. Kent has a Master of Business Administration in finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, a master’s in professional accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. |
