is President of Bimson Consulting in Cape Canaveral, Florida, which focuses on strategic application of emerging semantic technologies to military and industry needs. He is supporting the USAF 45th Space Wing in developing the Knowledge Management Initiative, which uses an ontology to integrate legacy data for web access. He consults on business development, semantic technology strategy, and developing win-win business partnerships among small businesses, large systems integrators and government organizations. His technical focus is on enterprise information integration and semantic modeling, teaching workshops in these areas for clients and supporting customers on numerous semantic technology projects. He has twenty-seven years of experience in technology management and research, serving as VP for Elagent Corp., VP and Chief Scientist for SAIC, Research Scientist for Lockheed, and faculty member at the University of California, Davis and California State University, Sacramento. He holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from UCLA and M.S. in Computer Science from CSUS. |
