Kent Nevins returns to private practice after serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at CBA Commercial, LLC, a specialized mortgage investment firm that originates, purchases and securitizes small balance multifamily, commercial and mixed-use mortgage loans. Prior to working in-house, Kent was a partner of a national firm where he headed the Real Estate Practice in Connecticut.
Kent's practice includes the representation of large-scale complex commercial real estate development and finance matters on a national basis, including acquisitions, development, finance (involving among other types, construction, acquisition, development, permanent, workouts and restructures), CMBS, capital markets, joint ventures, leasing, sales, exchanges, syndications, tax-exempt and government assisted projects, condominiums, hospitality, retail, multifamily, office, industrial, golf courses, mobile home parks and other property types.
In addition to being involved with several local charitable or not-for-profit organizations, Kent has published numerous articles and has lectured on a variety of real estate topics.
