Mr. Schwarz focuses his practice on all aspects of federal and state taxation, including advising with respect to domestic and international corporate transactions, executive compensation, estate planning and handling tax controversy matters. As a member of the Firm’s corporate transactional department, Mr. Schwarz also has significant experience in assisting clients with business formations, commercial transactions, acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Schwarz served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Carleton D. Powell of the United States Tax Court. He is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (North Carolina).
