Ken Brownlee brings broad research and development experience to DigitalPersona. He is responsible for all aspects of business operations as well as hardware engineering, including design, development and manufacturability of DigitalPersona's proprietary fingerprint readers. Brownlee has led teams in the design and development of complex optical and electronic products, including the transfer to overseas manufacturing. Before joining DigitalPersona, Brownlee was President and Founder of Brownlee Precision Co., which manufactures medical laboratory amplifiers of his own design. Prior to that, he was a Project Manager at Hewlett-Packard Optoelectronics Division, where he managed a multifunctional team developing imaging assemblies for the copier and printer markets. He has been awarded five patents, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University. |
