Kenneth Poole, PhD, a senior statistician, has been with RTI since 1967. He is an expert in biostatistical methodology and statistical analysis, particularly as applied to clinical trials and other medical studies. Dr. Poole directs projects involving clinical trials and has published widely on health-related subjects such as neonatal care, HIV infection, and heart disease. He has served as principal investigator of the coordinating center of several clinical studies. From 1983 to 1994, Dr. Poole was a vice president at RTI and supervised up to 130 members in studies involving clinical trials, community intervention, epidemiologic support and methodology, and development and maintenance of software for analysis of complex clinical trials data. Dr. Poole has been a Fellow of the American Statistical Association since 1988. |
