Ken Fluke serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Thomas & Betts, a position he has held since May 2004. In this role, Mr. Fluke is responsible for all controller functions, internal audit, treasury operations, tax functions, investor relations, real estate, risk management, and information technology functions of the company. Mr. Fluke reports to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to assuming the position of Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Fluke served as the company’s corporate controller from June 2000 to May 2004. In this position, Mr. Fluke directed consolidation accounting, financial reporting and analysis, policies and procedures, cost accounting and analysis, and served as a key strategic advisor to the company’s operating divisions.
Prior to joining Thomas & Betts, Mr. Fluke was controller for the North American Tire division of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He also served as general manager - finance for South Pacific Tyres in Melbourne Australia, a 50/50 joint venture between Goodyear and Pacific Dunlop Ltd., and in various other financial positions since beginning his career at Goodyear in 1982.
Mr. Fluke graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He has also completed the Executive Financial Management Program at Stanford University.
