Kenneth P. McKeithan has served as our Vice President of Software Engineering since June 2005. Prior to joining Atheros, from October 2004 to June 2005, Mr. McKeithan served as the CTO of the SMB midrange organization for EMC Corporation a world leader in products, services, and solutions for information storage and its management. Prior to joining EMC, from August 2002 to October 2004 Mr. McKeithan served as the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Allocity Inc. which provided intelligent application centric storage provisioning and management for Microsoft Exchange. From 1997-2002, Mr. McKeithan was a senior director of engineering for Veritas Software now Symantec® Corporation a leading provider of software to enable utility computing. Prior to this 1981-1995 Mr. McKeithan was a Principal Engineer at the Amdahl Corporation responsible for the design and implementation of I/O subsystem microcode on its family of mainframe processors.
