Ken has been with Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd., since 1986, and became a director in 1999. He has fifteen years of experience working with privately-owned companies and their owners. He specializes in representing companies in manufacturing, retail, and construction, as well as professional service firms and not-for-profit organizations.
In addition to accounting and auditing services, Ken provides tax planning, financial analysis and business consulting services. He has worked with numerous clients to help them set up new accounting software, and develop proper systems and internal controls for their financial functions. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, Ken has also helped clients and legal practitioners with a variety of fraud-related cases ranging from recommending fraud prevention controls to investigating suspected fraud.
Ken is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Japan America Society of Chicago. Ken is a board member of the Nonprofit Financial Center in Chicago, and has also served on the Nonprofit Committee of the Illinois CPA Society. In addition, he serves on the BKR International Forensic Accounting Committee. Ken earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University. |
