Ken Thome was named senior vice president, Financial Operations, in 1993. Previously, Thome was Vice President, Director of General Mills' Information Systems organization.
Thome joined the company in June 1969 as an auditor. He was named vice president and controller for General Mills' international group in 1985 and vice president of Information Systems in 1991.
He is a board member of the National Council on Economic Education, Minnesota Council on Economic Education and the United Theological Seminary.
Thome graduated with a B.S. from Iowa State University in 1969 and earned a CMA (Certificate in Management Accounting) in 1975. He received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 1981. |
