Kenneth L. Massimine is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Paper PCC of Specialty Minerals Inc., (SMI) a wholly owned subsidiary of New York City-based Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI). He is also a Corporate Officer of MTI and a member of the MTI Management Commitee. This position was effective January 2002.
Mr. Massimine joined SMI in 1992 as the Assistant Director of Marketing responsible for all non-paper related product applications and in 1994 was promoted to Director, Minerals Marketing and Technical Service. He assumed increasing responsibilities and in May 1997 was appointed Business Director, Lime and Limestone. In 1999, he became the Vice President and General Manager of the Processed Minerals business and also became a member of SMI’s Executive Management Committee.
Mr. Massimine earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Manhattan College in 1970 and his M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2000. Before joining SMI, he worked for General Chemical Corporation and American Cyanamid Company.
Mr. Massimine also serves as Chairman of the Pulverized Minerals Division of the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. |
