Ken is an intellectual property attorney and devotes the majority of his practice to patent prosecution and counseling. A portion of his work also involves trademark prosecution and counseling. Ken’s in-depth experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a wide variety of technical areas, including valves and fittings, brake systems, systems for heavy duty trucks, databases, equipment for producing insulated windows, electrical switches, safety systems for lawn mowers, food processing equipment and silicon wafer processing equipment. A member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations, Ken is also active in the American and Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Associations. Ken was employed as a mechanical engineer for Marconi from 1995-1999 and was an attorney with Watts, Hoffman Co. L.P.A. from 1999-2004 prior to joining Calfee. |
